Great central location for exploring Dublin. Good size rooms and comfortable bed. Good value for money.
Though we stayed through the week, not the weekend, there was a fair amount of noise into the early hours. We didn't mind it, and slept (we were on the 3rd floor, there was double-glazing) - but, I imagine the levels are tremendous at the weekend. Advice taking earplugs.
It was clean and very handy for restaurants and pubs in Temple Bar
Parking in the area is quite expensive.Hotel should have an deal done for guests with local car parks.
Receiption was fantastic. The nicest I have been treated in any hotel in a long while. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great value for money.
Very friendly personell, good service, free wlan, clean room
Great Location, Expensive for the basic facilities but it was a saturday night. Didnt have a problem with the church bells.
Only one accessible plug, had to plug out tv to plug phone charger in.
I am impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel..from reception to room to restaurant downstairs. Location is excellent..I have the view of Christchurch Cathedral from my room. Walking distance to Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, tourist info office, convenience stores and lots more.. They have pamphlets on tours and places to go and can arrange it for you at the desk. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff excellent very helpful. Checked-in less than 10mins for a group of 9. Chosen for location which was perfect. Temple bar 5 minute walk, no taxis, no buses ideal for a night out or shopping trip. Price was the best by far, of all the hotels in that area. Rooms clean, tidy, very spacious large triples. Tea, coffee and a fridge, which was great. Rarely get a fridge in hotel rooms in Ireland. Christchurch Cathedral across the road.
Its position in Temple Bar, near Christchurch. Good for shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions such as the wonderful castle.Didn't find the church bells/clock at all annoying. Comfortable beds.
No shelf or storage in the bathroom of any kind. Bed made up with soiled sheet, which was replaced on request. Bar a bit too noisy as used by non-residents for celebrations, etc. , and seats in short supply. Rather limited breakfast menu. No parking, although this is probably common to all city centre hotels. Subsidised parking available reasonably nearby.
Central position, very convenient to airport busses. Nice view of the Christchurch from the rooms on the street, but with the light noise of the chatedral bells. The room was large and very clean. There are two convenient pub and breackfast/restaurant inside the building. Very friendly staff..
The staff are great and extremely helpful. The trad sessions in the bar are among the best in Dublin.
I advise you to ask for a room on the non-Christ Church side, as the bells ring every single hour of the day and night!
The location was excellent. Generally staff were accomodating.
Poor room servicing in terms of replenishing tea/coffee, Bin bags. Very noisy in room from bar/party below and very warm stuffy room.
Helpful staff. Very well located for being in the City. Rooms were large, well - equipped and very well serviced. Good value for money
Though I booked for two of us, weeks before going, we were placed in rooms two floors away from each other - someone wasn't thinking. This very much undermined the fun we might have had in spending evenings chatting together in and out of each other's rooms - there's no lounge in the hotel at all. My friend experienced several occasions of a foul smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor - it seems the hotel is still persuading its staff and customers to smoke only out of doors. But the rooms were large, well - equipped and very well serviced. Good value for money
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. The hotel is ideally situated but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the temple bar area. Darkey Kellys pub next door is a really nice friendly bar.
most comfortable bed I have ever come across at a hotel
Very comfortable, good location for seeing the city.
The breakfast was not very good.
